Fest 2019: Anonymous Masterlist

Sorry that we've been a bit quiet - life and summer and all that! We hope you're excited that posting begins on Sunday, the 1st of September!
Posting will take place on Livejournal and Dreamwidth – each story or art will be on AO3. We will also be posting the header with link to fic/art on our tumblr page.
Here’s how to follow us:

We are going to post every day – one or two (sometimes maybe even three) fic or art (or podfic) every day and weekly round ups will be on Sundays. We are hoping that the fest will run for five weeks. (FIVE WEEKS, YOU GUYS!) – as we are anticipating over 50 submissions in the rarest of rarepairs and the most infamous of the famous pairings (does that even make sense? Probably not).
PLEASE REMEMBER THE FEST IS ANONYMOUS UNTIL REVEALS WHICH IS MID OCTOBER. This means, you cannot be out on social media and repost your story or art somewhere else. Not until reveals and the final masterlist has gone up. If you do not understand this concept, please ask us your questions.
If you find any errors – feel free to email us at hpdrizzlemods@gmail.com. It’s the fastest way to reach your mod. We hope you’re ready for the ride!
Note: Since we are posting live, because we’re posting on all 3 platforms, posting times may vary. Sometimes posts will be made at 10 am EST, or 1 pm EST. We have no control over life and natural disasters! I hope you’ll be kind.

How to submit:
1. You can send your work in an email to us. Make sure all the HTML tags are in. If you need help with HTML tagging - here's a link: https://hd-writers.dreamwidth.org/416945.html
2. You can upload the work directly to the AO3 COLLECTION. If you do not know how to do this PLEASE ASK FIRST. There's also this TUTORIAL here for you.
3. Art - you can email us the art or upload it on AO3.
4. PLEASE ADD "DRIZZLE_MOD" as co-creator if you decide to upload it on ao3 yourself.
5. You'll need a header - see below.
6. The email you send to us during submissions needs to have the following subject: Submission. FIC/ART. Prompt #. Author/Artist. (EXAMPLE: https://i.imgur.com/QSgafQN.png)
This fest is anonymous so what that means is that you can't post your fic/art anywhere until the fest is over. (OVER OVER - LIKE AFTER OCTOBER)
Once submitted, you can claim another prompt, if you wish. Please remember that fic must be at least 1000 words long and beta-read; art can be in any media or style. If you need a beta, look up beta communities on livejournal such as: hp_betas, hp_betas_wanted, find_me_a_beta, and beta_search. Or tell us if you do not have a beta! It is best to FINISH your work and look for a beta ASAP. It's harder to find a beta if you're not done with your story. Artists do not need a beta.

Hi everyone,
This is where you sign up to do podfic for drizzle.
The rules are simple. If there's a weather related fic you'd like to record and submit for the fest, please gain the permission of the original author.
Here are some general guidelines:
+ All stories must be in the Harry Potter fandom
+ The stories can have any rating and can be any pairing as long as the theme of weather is very much present in the story.
+ The stories can have any length.
+ The stories can be written by the podficcer themselves or by someone else (with author's permission).
+ The stories must be recorded specifically for the fest.
+ The Podficcers will not be anonymous. A masterlist will go up at the end of the fest.

All we need to know is:
1. Your fandom username (livejournal, dreamwidth, tumblr, ao3, etc...) - the one you use the MOST.

Claiming begins tomorrow, are you ready for it? Here's some quick info - and we'll be back on Saturday with additional information.
Claiming will be done via GOOGLE FORM and after you submit your claim, you just wait for an email from us. You'll get an email in less than 36 hours. If you haven't heard from us for TWO DAYS, please email us to confirm. Also check your spam folder.

-Choose TWO prompts in order of your preference.
-You will only be assigned ONE prompt, if possible your first choice.
-Claims will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
-Each prompt can be claimed once for fic and once for art.

Hi everyone, thanks for being so patient with us. Prompting is still happening for

hpdrizzle and we are super excited to tell you that already, we have 145+ prompts. Remember, that each member can only submit 10 prompts per person. Here's a cleaned up link to all our prompts so far - so feel free to check 'em out and find out what inspires you!
We will have prompting open until the 15th of April - Monday - and it'll close around 6 pm Eastern Time (NYC time).
Then on the 16 or something, we'll have a final - more cleaned up version of prompts posted. Claiming will start sometime in the morning on the 20th of April (Saturday).
Each prompt can be claimed once for fic and once for art. Since drizzle is a slightly popular fest (thank you!) - we do request that when you're getting ready to make a claim (on the 20th and after), that you submit at least 2 choices - we will have more details on this when it's time for claiming.

Your prompts can be anything, as long as they involve weather of any kind! - Please, please, please, if you are prompting a song, do not write the entire lyrics to the song. That's what google is for.

hp_drizzle FEST RULES POST. We are excited to have you here. Please read through this whole post and feel free to ask any questions about whatever we might have forgotten to include.What is
hpdrizzle?It's an anonymous prompt-based fest. Authors and artists will create a Harry Potter piece that involves weather in any kind; for example, it could be Character A and Character B kissing in the rain or Character C building a snowman in their garden. The possibilities are endless. We accept Het, Femslash, Slash, Gen, Three/more-somes, along with angst, dark, fluff, hurt/comfort, humour, etc, etc…

hp_drizzlemodHello everyone, the individual in question who revealed themselves on social media earlier to the end of this fest has removed themselves as part of the fest form AO3. Their story is no longer listed in the ao3 collection, information I only happened to come across today, as this was not discussed with the mods. I guess they really wanted their fans to know they wrote it.
Therefore, we have removed their entry from our livejournal, dreamwidth posts. I'm sorry things took such an awkward turn, and I feel like even if the person is in the wrong, and quite adamant about staying non-anonymous, it's not our place to harass them. I'm sorry this has been inconvenient for everyone, those that were offended but remained silent, those that were outraged and confronted the individual. Let's try to remain positive as we continue to enjoy the next two weeks of this fest.
We have this week and next week of postings - lots of rare pairs and lots of popular pairings. Reveals will be in the second week of October, no later than 10th of October.

FEST 2018: PSA - This fest is anonymous.
hp_drizzlemodHi Friends, Dig here - it's been brought to my attention that some members are distressed over the fact that not every participant is respecting the "anonymous for now" rule for this fest. If you are new and/or unaware - this fest is anonymous. Which means, all stories are anonymous, all art is anonymous and we like it if members did not post stories on other places away from the fest. As in facebook, tumblr, fanfiction.net, or other places. You can, secretly, tell your friends it's your story/art and encourage them to go and read it but please do not post it out in the open.
It's anonymous.
This gives the chance to all participants to have their stories or art be reviewed without any bias. And personally, it makes it a lot of fun to read anonymous stories (and look at art).
Having said this, we are not here to police you or mother you or whatever else analogies you. If members don't respect and follow the rules, there's nothing we can do about it, but please, we'd like it if you respect and follow the rules.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
