FEST CHECK IN, Part 1

OMG check in post *dramatic music*

Let's start with us first. So far, we have 65+ sign ups. OMG. Which is AMAZING! 5 ART sign ups. 1 member who is doing art and fic (!) and then we have almost 60 (!!) FIC sign ups.

This is super amazing. What's even better - is that out of all of our sign ups right now, 60% of those that did sign up to do a fic or art are BRAND NEW — meaning they have never participated in DRIZZLE before!

*mind blowing*

Makes me wonder … 40% of our sign ups are returning members … where are the rest of the folks?!

10% of the sign ups are femslash, 26% are HET, and 57% are slash — the rest are undecided, undeclared, or GEN.

Now that we have all this information, let's talk about how you are doing…?

General Analysis - How are you doing?: Exhausted. I'm not made for the heat and current weather where I live is a nightmare. Plus, it seems like all the fests (Poly Trolley, Fandom5K, Weasley Jumpers, etc.) are coming due in the first half of June so I'm pretty busy.
Tell us something about your piece: I'm going with a very sassy iteration of my pairing.
Your approximate current word count (or general status, e.g. 1/3 done, etc) - "haven't started yet"/"hysterical laughter" is totally still an option!: I'll take the 'hysterical laughter' option, please. XD
Something you love about your piece: I got the number one prompt on my list, and I have no shortage of ideas.
Something you don't love at all about your piece: There's not enough done yet!
Other comments or inspiring words: I used to think that forcing myself to sign up for things wouldn't do anything but turn me into an anxious mess with my writing, but it turns out that it's actually making me about ten times more productive. Do all the fests!

All the fests! I find a lot of motivation in participating in them all the time, so I totally get where you're coming from. We're so happy you chose Drizzle to add to that list, and excited to see what you come up with!
