HP_DRIZZLE Participant Check-In - PART TWO!

Submissions are due in about a month (and three days) on August 15th!

So far we already have a few people send in their submissions, and one person's even claimed their THIRD prompt! It's super exciting and hope that you're excited too!

This check-in is totally not mandatory, but it'll be fun to know where you are with your fic/art submission! (Also we have one drop out! - Which is TOTALLY fine, and the MOD appreciates knowing well in advance if you can't make it. We don't hold anything against you, we love members who keep us in check!)

Still not doing any better than during the first check-in, BUT I'm on summer holidays now finally, so I get time to breathe and, more importantly, to write! So I'm still super positive that I'll make everything on time :D

I have many words of planning, which includes a scene-by-scene and snippets of dialogue. Just got to flesh it out and get it written proper. I've given myself a deadline of end of July to get it to my betas :)

The kids go back to school on August 10. I'm pretty hopeless til then. I keep getting pulled away by driving to doctor appointments or therapy or or or.

But I will persevere!

Locked myself out of my lovejournal account but it's Shananigans10, here! Everything is going great, I'm just waiting to get my story back from my beta before it goes to another person, who is going to code it for me! Then it's completely done and can be submitted :)

I am ashamed to admit that I haven't even started. However, I still love my prompt very much, have a reasonable idea of the shape I want my story to take, and am keeping the due date in mind!

No shame necessary. I'm on the same boat as you! Hugs!

I have already written a first draft, about to revise that, and then have it send to the beta...

Currently juggling 3 challenges, and the revision of another story. (I've got too much time on my hands. 😆)

I sort of have a plan, but I just got back from my holidays, so I haven't got around to starting it yet. But it won't be a problem :)

Well, I turned in my first prompt a week or so ago and this morning I took the plunge and claimed another one cause the bunny bit me.

Funnily enough. The prompt you picked for your second entry was dropped just yesterday! So you're a pinch hitter and you didn't even know it!

Plotted out, not yet started. I have multiple fests on my plate so I'm starting everything based on deadline. But I will absolutely not leave you hanging if I don't think I will finish and will drop you an email, however I am mostly determined not to let that happen since I'm excited about my fic and want to write it :) I also really want to be part of this fest!!

I'm a mad woman, and I can't be stopped...apparently. I've submitted two fics so far, and I'm working on my third. Just started on it, but I expect it to be quite a bit shorter than the others, so I'm not worried about it.

Am not much further than before, except that I worked out the title and have a semi-summary. It's about 2/3 written and I know where it's going, but I got stalled out. This weekend I will tackle it anew so I can move on to pet-fair soon!

Have just done the rough planning of the fic. Planning to write next week 'cause summer classes are being a pain in the bum at the moment and with little brats running around the house, concentrating on something is impossible. :D

I have everything planned out. I have parts written, even. But I also have a slashorific fic to finish first because I've already gotten an ext on that (my first ever extension! *Shame*) But this one will be good as long as I don't have a meltdown over sor. I may even have time to claim a second :)

I've not started it yet, and I'm not sure if I'm even inspired by it now (unfortunately). It's a great prompt but I just don't seem to know where to start when writing it. I try not to write the opening scene as I find that comes to me once I've got the main 'event' of the prompt written.

I don't have anything written yet since I have four other fics due before then (I maybe sign up for too many things...), but I have an outline and I know what I'm going to do with it :)

I'm one down, one to go! My fic just needs to be beta'd, and my art is outlined but still needs a lot of work - it's an animation and my first one at that so :/ possibly over ambitious (considering I have 3 over fests too), but also :D challenging myself! In fact, it's all a great challenge: both pieces are totally new characters/ships for me!

My fic hates me, I started but half way it didn't wanted to cooperate anymore. And at this point I feel that I won't be able to do anything else with it, so is either struggle and make something I know I will hate or start a new one. So, pretty much is looking grim :I

Oh it's so comforting to know others haven't got it all done and dusted yet! I've got about 4000 words and I'm nowhere near finished. Life keeps getting in the way... Hopefully got some time free this weekend though, so am still feeling quite positive :P
