Thank you for reading my little F/F rare pair fic and leaving such a glorious comment!
I'm a sucker for complimentary partnerships and that dynamic of filling in for one another's weaknesses, so I really indulged in that while writing this story :p
It's really interesting that you brought up that argument for adventurous!Hermione, because I have to admit, I didn't consciously think about that as I came up with the plot for this fic. I agree with everything you've pointed out, though, and though my canon knowledge is failing me a little at the moment, I feel like the only holiday trips that Hermione mentions with her parents were going to France, going skiing, and camping in the forest of Dean. It's not much, but it definitely adds a bit of support to the fact that Hermione is more comfortable in the outdoors than fanon often represents her as being. She probably would prefer to be in a library as opposed to out camping (lol), but I like the thought of Millicent, who is so self-assured outdoors, bolstering Hermione's adventurous side with her cool dependability.
Ah, you brought up Azoth! ♥ It solidified my love for the HGMB ship as well, though what kicked off my search for the pairing in the first place was this manifesto laying out all the reasons why the pairing works. It also kickstarted the development of my Millicent headcanon. But I digress! :)
