FEST CHECK IN, Part 1

OMG IT'S ALREADY TIME FOR A CHECK-IN POST

To start, we've got some numbers for ya, which we're very excited about. We have 109 SIGN-UPS! 109! WHAT. HOW. That is so insane and so amazing, thank you all so much for supporting us!

Of those 109, eleven of them are art, and two more are for both art and fic! About 10 are femmeslash, 34 are het, a couple gen/undecided, and the remaining are slash! We've even received three submissions already, which just, WOOT!
That being said, how are you all doing?

Of course, check-ins are never mandatory, but we would love to hear from you if you're up for it! Feel free to fill out the survey below, and you're also more than welcome to connect with your fellow creators and have a little chat. :D

Comments are not screened, and anon comments are allowed. Just fill out the questionnaire below:

General Analysis - How are you doing?: Pretty good, I think. I was beginning to have fears about potentially dropping, but then I had the most incredible shower brainstorming session (aren’t those great?) and I feel a lot better about my fic.
Tell us something about your piece: The Gryffindor common room is a circle. Did anyone else remember that? I didn’t. And there’s a snippet of my research. (Now the real question is, do the windows open?)
Your approximate current word count (or general status, e.g. 1/3 done, etc) - "haven't started yet"/"hysterical laughter" is totally still an option!: ~50 words? My outline has random snippets of lines and dialogue that will probably make their way into the fic.
Something you love about your piece: How many ideas I’ve had for it, considering much of the fic takes place in one location with just the main pairing. I really think I’ve got some good stuff, and I’m excited to begin writing!
Something you don't love at all about your piece: This is more just something I’m scared for, but I’m nervous about whether I’ll achieve the mood and character dynamic I’m going for. I haven’t had very many good dialogue ideas yet, so I’m hoping that’s just something that will flow when I start actually writing.
Other comments or inspiring words: Keep plodding on, everyone! We can do this!
